Indications/Uses: Herpes zoster. Accelerates resolution of pain by reducing duration & proportion of patients w/ zoster-associated pain, which includes acute & post-herpetic neuralgia. Herpes simplex skin & mucous membrane infections including initial & recurrent genital herpes. Reduces risk of transmission of herpes simplex.
