- Promesec (Omesec) Capsule belongs to a class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) . This medication should be taken one hour before meals, preferably in the morning. The dosage will depend on the underlying condition and how you respond to the medication.
- You can continue to take it as prescribed, even though the symptoms resolve quickly. You will improve the efficiency of medication by consuming smaller meals more frequently and avoiding caffeine drinks such as tea and coffee and spicy or fatty foods.
- Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor whether you have or have had severe liver complications, allergic reactions to similar drugs, or bone loss. Many other medicines can affect or affected by this medicine. Let your doctor know about all the other medications you are taking to make sure they are safe. Pregnant or breast-feeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this drug.
